Criteria and Selection as a SRUTI Fellow
If you are a woman or man in the age group of 20-40 years:
- with the imagination and vision for a just human future...
- for the cause of the right to existence, dignity and development, both material and spiritual...
- willing to create and lead a team of change agents to fulfill your vision...
- residing and working amidst marginalised communities anywhere in India...
- with none or limited resources to realise your vision...
Sectors of support
SRUTI provides support for organising oppressed & vulnarable communities on thier basic issues of access and control over land, forest, water and other livelihood resources , displacement and mining, migration and employment, local self-governance, urban poverty and development, women's issues, discrimination and social exploitation, education & health. The thrust of SRUTI support is towards communitiy organization process & building a leadership within the community.
