K. Sahdeviah is working with Dalit and tribal communities from more than 100 villages in 3 mandals near Venkatagiri. Sehdevaiah along with his wife Victoria and other co-activists Sriniwasulu, Penchalaiyah and Venkataiah are working on the Issues that confront the Dalit and tribal communities of the area such as casteism, bonded labour, untouchability, land misappropriation and alienation .
