Jamal Kidwai

Jamal Kidwai is presently the Director and founding member of NGO AMAN (public charitable trust). He is also the founder of a handloom weaver’s enterprise, the Baragaon Weaves. They work with cotton handloom weavers in UP and pashmina weavers in Kashmir.

Jamal is on the board of governance of SRUTI, Sadhbhavna Trust, AIACA, and Law and Liberty Foundation.

Jamal did his M. Phil from Delhi university’s Delhi School of Economics. In the past, he has worked with SEWA Lucknow and Oxfam India Trust.
